Luthier
Background
Fabien Peyruc was born in 1978 in
France. He began his apprenticeshhip in 1999 at the I.P.I.A.L.L.
Antonio Stradivari in Cremona,
Italy. He completed his studies at the Ecole de
lutherie in Mirecourt, where he obtained
the Diplôme des Métiers d'Art in 2003.
Since may 2006, He assists Bernard
Sabatier, in Paris. He practises the maintenance, the restoration and the tone
regulation of stringed instruments there.
Since 2003, he makes his own instruments
by being inspired by Italian great masters: Amati, Stradivari, Guarneri,
Gasparo da Salo. He presents his works to different demonstrations of music and
violin making :
· Ancient music festival in Gimont (Gers).
· International
gallery of contemporary violin making in Cordes sur Ciel (Tarn).
· C.N.R. inauguration in Nice.
· International violin
making competitions in Paris, Mittenwald, Londres, Poznan…
He’s member of the Violin
Society of America and the ACADOC.
